Sherry, baby! What do young children and Sherries have in common?

They both grow up in nurseries. Well at least that is what the winemakers of Jerez, Spain call the storage and management facilities for Sherry casks. The Spanish word for nurseries is criaderas. Sherries start life as still wine and make their way through a fractional blending system called the Solera system to become one of the many styles of Sherry.
