Strohwein
Austrian for "straw wine," referring to a subcategory in their highest wine category, PRÄDIKATSWEIN. Wines are made from grapes reaching a minimum natural sugar level of 127° OECHSLE. This is achieved by drying the grapes on straw mats or trays. The dried grapes are full of sweet, concentrated juice.
