Riverina

Huge Australian wine region located in the Big Rivers Zone of NEW SOUTH WALES. It's situated in a hot dry area of the state around the town of Griffith, some 350 west of Sydney and 270 miles north of Melbourne. Riverina requires irrigation and is the beneficiary of the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area, which allows this region to be not only the largest growing area in New South Wales (generating 65 percent of the production) but one of the largest in Australia (20 percent of the production).
