River Junction AVA
A 1,300-acre (of which over 300 acres are currently planted), California VITICULTURAL AREA situated in southern San Joaquin County south of Stockton and west of Modesto where the San Joaquin and Stanislaus Rivers converge. Vineyards adjacent to the rivers enjoy a cooling influence of 3 to 5 degrees from those areas not near the river.
