Rivesaltes AC

Small town located just north of Perpignan in France's LANGUEDOC-ROUSSILLON region. The APPELLATION that surrounds the town produces VIN DOUX NATUREL (VDN), a category of sweet, FORTIFIED WINE. Rivesaltes AC produces red, white, and ROSÉ wines from GRENACHE, MALVOISIE, MACABEO, and MUSCAT. A more celebrated VDN from this same area is MUSCAT DE RIVESALTES AC, which is made from 100 percent MUSCAT.
