Quincy AC
[kan-SEE]

A tiny APPELLATION surrounding the village of Quincy in the central LOIRE region southwest of SANCERRE AC and POUILLY-FUMÉ AC. Quincy produces white wines from the SAUVIGNON BLANC grape that are similar in style to those from these other two appellations—generally CRISP and TART, with a somewhat GRASSY characteristic.
