An APPELLATION that encompasses the wines made in the area west of the city of Bastia on the northwestern coast of the French island of CORSICA. The appellation designation covers red and ROSÉ wines made primarily from the local Nielluccio grape (SANGIOVESE) and white wines from VERMENTINO.
