Pigato
[pee-GAH-toh]

A white-wine grape grown primarily in Italy's LIGURIA region. Pigato, whose name refers to its blotchy (oddly pigmented) skin, is thought to have originated in Greece. It produces attractive, full-bodied dry wines with floral and peach characteristics.
