Durbanville WO
A small demarcated South African wine ward (see SOUTH AFRICA) located on the northeast edges of Cape Town. It is one of the country’s coolest growing regions due to breezes blowing off False Bay to the south and Table Bay to the east. Durbanville is best known for premium red wines, particularly Shiraz (SYRAH), although SAUVIGNON BLANC has also attracted attention recently.
