Leon Millot
[lee-OHN MEE-yoh]

] A red French-American HYBRID grown in the eastern United States and a few vineyards in England. Officially known as Kuhlmann 1942, Leon Millot is the offspring of Goldriesling and an American VITIS RIPARIA–VITIS RUPESTRIS vine—the same parents of the more widely planted MARÉCHAL FOCH. Leon Millot can produce good full-bodied reds with a nuance of chocolate.
