Linganore AVA
The Linganore VITICULTURAL AREA is located in north-central MARYLAND and encompasses 57,600 acres in parts of Frederick and Carroll Counties. Established in 1983, it is Maryland's first AVA and home to the Berrywine Plantation—Linganore Cellars, Maryland's largest winery. Elk Run Vineyards and Lowe Vineyards are also located there.
