Erbaluce di Caluso DOC [ehr-bah-LOO-tchay dee kah-LOOsoh] DOC area located in the northern part of Italy’s PIEDMONT region north of Turin. The vineyards are located in thirty-five different villages in and around the town of Caluso. These are ordinary DRY white wines made from the ERBALUCE grape, although a rich, sweet DESSERT WINE called CALUSO PASSITO is also made.
