Escherndorf
[ESH-uhrn-dorf]

This well-known village produces some of the best wines coming from Germany’s FRANKEN region. Escherndorf, which is located on the Main River northeast of Wurzburg, lies at the base of steep hillside vineyards. The best EINZELLAGEN are Berg, Fürstenberg, and Lump.
