Etna DOC [EHT-nuh] A DOC area located in eastern SICILY on the eastern slopes of Mount Etna, a famous volcano. It covers ROSSO and ROSATO wines made from NERELLO and other grapes (including up to 10 percent white grapes), and white wines made from Carricante, CATARRATTO, TREBBIANO, and Minnella Bianca.
