White-wine grape that is one of the most widely planted varieties in the northeastern United States, where the cool climate suits its early ripening properties. Aurora is a French-American HYBRID, officially known as Seibel Hybrid 5279. It’s used to make SPARKLING WINES, as well as OFF-DRY, STILL WINES.
