Brouilly AC
[broo-YEE]

This is the largest and southernmost of the ten CRUS in France’s BEAUJOLAIS region. . It includes five villages surrounding Mont de Brouilly and has almost 3,000 acres of vineyards. Made from GAMAY grapes, these wines are delicate and fruity with nuances of strawberries, bananas, and peaches. Though perhaps lighter than some of the other crus, they’re still considered to be fairly typical of Beaujolais wines. CÔTE DE BROUILLY is a different cru located next to Brouilly.
