Weinkellerei
[vine-KEHL-ler-ri]
German for “wine cellar.” Use of this term on a label usually means that the producer buys their grapes, MUST, or wine and may not have their own vineyards. Use of Weingut-Weinkellerei on a label indicates the producer owns his vineyards but also buys grapes from others.
