Casteller DOC
[kass-TEH-ler]
DOC located in the Trentino province, which is part of the TRENTINO-ALTO ADIGE region in northeastern Italy. It covers a wide area and includes vineyards around twenty-seven different villages in the province. The rather ordinary, DRY, light red wine produced here is made from SCHIAVA, LAMBRUSCO, and MERLOT. It should be drunk young.
