A white-wine HYBRID created by the New York State Agricultural Office at its Geneva experimental station by crossing SEYVAL BLANC (a European hybrid) with a native American vine. It’s grown mostly in New York’s FINGER LAKES region and is named after that region’s Cayuga Lake.
