Côtes de Saint-Mont VDQS
[koht duh sahn-MOHN]
A VDQS area located in SOUTHWEST FRANCE just south of Armagnac and next to MADIRAN. Côtes de Saint-Mont produces red and ROSÉ wines from Tannat, a local variety, blended with FER, CABERNET SAUVIGNON, CABERNET FRANC, and MERLOT. Small amounts of DRY white wine are produced mainly from Arrufiac, Courbu, and Manseng.
