Côtes du Ventoux AC

Large APPELLATION located in the southern RHÔNE, east of CHÂTEAUNEUF-DU-PAPE. It produces red, white, and ROSÉ wines from the vineyards planted on the slopes of Mount Ventoux. The red and rosé wines are made from CARIGNAN, CINSAUT, GAMAY, GRENACHE, MOURVÈDRE, and SYRAH. White wines are produced from BOURBOULENC, CLAIRETTE, GRENACHE BLANC, and Ugni Blanc (TREBBIANO) grapes. Côtes du Ventoux wines are similar to those from the CÔTES DU RHÔNE AC.
