Seibel, Albert
A well-known French hybridist (see HYBRID) who lived from 1844 to 1936. Albert Seibel was responsible for creating numerous new grape varieties including Plantet and Rayon d'Or and the French-American hybrids AURORA, Cascade, CHANCELLOR, CHELOIS, Colobel, DE CHAUNAC, Rougeon, and Verdelet.
