Although Beaune is known best for its white wines, it's lighter style reds are quite appealing in 2005. Bouchard Pere et Fils owned some of the best vineyards in the Cote de Beaune. After years of indifferent quality, Bouchard Pere has been making a major comeback over the last few years.
