Along with Chambolle-Musigny, Volnay produces the most intensely fragrant wines of Burgundy. This Volnay-Caillerets has a remarkable bouquet of spring flowers, violets, and cherry strawberry fruit. It is enjoyable now, but will be at its best in five to seven years.
